ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed met with a 12-member commission, on Monday, to review the Islamabad Master Plan for the protection and preservation of green areas of Zone III and IV.

As per sources, three new members – Murad Jamali, Sikandar Ajam and Arif Changezi – were also in attendance. The commission decided to employ effective strategy and planning to realise the goal.

In the meeting, the consensus was reached that the commission will meet on a weekly basis. It was further agreed that instead of hiring one consultancy firm, several firms will be hired and assigned different tasks to allow the goals to be completed within six months.
