Accurate & Reliable Construction Documentation for Every Project”
Construction Documentation
At Ahmed Construction Company, we recognize that clear, accurate, and well-organized construction documentation forms the foundation of every successful project. Without precise documentation, even the best-designed projects can face costly delays, errors, and misunderstandings. That’s why our experienced structural engineering team takes the time to ensure that every blueprint, drawing, plan, and report is meticulously prepared and aligned with your project’s objectives. Our documentation covers everything from detailed structural drawings and material specifications to load calculations, compliance reports, and construction schedules. By providing comprehensive and practical documentation, we empower contractors, architects, and clients to make informed decisions at every stage of the project. This not only minimizes risks and errors but also ensures that the construction process runs smoothly, efficiently, and on time. Whether your project involves building a modern residential complex, a high-rise commercial facility, or a specialized industrial structure, our team approaches every assignment with the same commitment to clarity, precision, and professionalism. Each document we produce is designed to be easy to understand, actionable, and fully compliant with local building codes and industry standards. In short, Ahmed Construction Company’s construction documentation services are not just papers and drawings—they are essential tools that bridge the gap between design and execution, helping your project succeed from concept to completion. Our human-centered approach ensures that every document we create is practical, reliable, and tailored to the unique needs of your project, making your construction journey organized, predictable, and stress-free.
Construction Documentation Services in Pakistan
You have a vision for your dream home in DHA Phase 6. Or a commercial plaza in Gulberg, Lahore. Or a factory in Karachi’s industrial zone. But between your vision and a completed building lies a mountain of paperwork: architectural drawings, structural calculations, MEP layouts, BOQs, tender documents, and regulatory submissions. Without proper construction documentation, your project cannot get approved, cannot be tendered, cannot be financed, and cannot be built. Consequently, thousands of projects in Pakistan face delays, cost overruns, and legal issues due to incomplete or poor-quality documentation. At Ahmed Construction Company (ACCO), we provide comprehensive construction documentation services in Pakistan that cover everything from concept to completion. For over 25 years, we have prepared documentation for Meezan Bank, Bata, BUITMS, Savour Foods, and thousands of residential, commercial, and industrial projects across Pakistan. From a simple home floor plan to a complex industrial facility, our PEC-certified engineers and architects deliver documentation that gets approvals the first time.
What Are Construction Documentation Services?
Construction documentation is the complete set of technical documents required to design, approve, tender, finance, and build a construction project. It includes: architectural drawings (site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, schedules), structural drawings (foundation plans, column schedules, beam reinforcement, slab details, PEC-stamped), MEP drawings (electrical layouts, plumbing risers, HVAC ducting, firefighting systems), BOQ (Bill of Quantities) (material quantities and specifications for tendering), specifications (material quality standards, workmanship requirements), tender documents (for contractor bidding), and regulatory submission packages (for LDA, KDA, CDA, DHA, Bahria Town approvals).
In Pakistan, complete construction documentation is essential for: building approval (LDA, DHA, Bahria Town require complete drawing sets), tendering (contractors need BOQs and specs to bid accurately), bank financing (Meezan Bank and others require complete documentation for construction loans), construction (contractors need drawings to build), and legal compliance (proper documentation protects owners).
ACCO’s construction documentation services in Pakistan are end-to-end. We provide architectural, structural, and MEP documentation under one roof—no coordination headaches between multiple consultants. We serve architects (who outsource documentation to us), developers (who need complete packages), contractors (who need tender documents), and homeowners (who need approval packages).
Who We Are: ACCO – 25+ Years of Documentation Excellence
For over two and a half decades, Ahmed Construction Company (ACCO) has been the trusted provider of construction documentation in Pakistan. From our head office at Office 2, 3rd Floor, Bigcity Plaza, Gulberg-III, Lahore, and our operational hub in Karachi, we have prepared documentation for over 500 projects.
Our clients include individual homeowners, architects, developers, contractors, and industry giants such as Meezan Bank, Bata, PTC, BUITMS, Savour Foods, Alpine, Lake View, and Gerry DNATA. What sets us apart is our integrated multi-disciplinary team. We have architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, and quantity surveyors all under one roof. Consequently, when you order documentation from ACCO, you get coordinated, consistent, and complete documents—not disjointed pieces from separate consultants. Our Construction Documentation Services – Detailed Breakdown
We provide complete documentation packages for all types of construction projects across Pakistan.
1. Architectural Documentation
Our architectural documentation includes: site plans (boundaries, setbacks, landscaping, parking), floor plans (room layouts, dimensions, door/window schedules), elevations (all four sides with material indications), sections (cut-through views showing floor-to-floor heights), finish schedules (flooring, wall finishes, ceiling types), and door/window schedules (sizes, materials, hardware). We provide both 2D architectural drafting and 3D architectural walkthrough for client presentations.
2. Structural Documentation
Our structural documentation includes: foundation plans (footing layouts, sizes, reinforcement), column schedules (dimensions, reinforcement, concrete grade), beam reinforcement drawings (span lengths, top/bottom bars, stirrups), slab reinforcement plans (thickness, mesh reinforcement, edge beams), structural calculations (load analysis, seismic design), and PEC stamping (by registered structural engineer). See our Structural Drawings page for more details.
3. MEP & Firefighting Documentation
Our MEP documentation includes: electrical drawings (lighting layout, power outlets, switch locations, panel schedules, cable routing), plumbing drawings (water supply lines, drainage, sewerage, gas piping), HVAC drawings (ducting layout, diffuser locations, equipment schedules), and firefighting drawings (sprinkler layout, fire hose reels, fire alarm system, fire pump room details).
4. Bill of Quantities (BOQ) & Specifications
We prepare detailed BOQs listing all materials and quantities: excavation quantities, concrete volumes (by grade), reinforcement weight (by bar size), formwork area, masonry quantities, plaster areas, tile areas, paint areas, MEP materials (cable lengths, pipe lengths, number of fixtures). We also prepare technical specifications defining material quality standards (cement brand, steel grade, concrete mix design), workmanship standards (plaster thickness, tile fixing method), and testing requirements (concrete cube tests, steel tensile tests).
5. Tender Documentation
We prepare complete tender documentation packages for contractor bidding including: invitation to tender, instructions to bidders, form of tender, drawings (architectural, structural, MEP), BOQ, specifications, and draft contract (FIDIC or local format). See our Tender Documentation Services page.
6. Regulatory Submission Packages (LDA/KDA/DHA/Bahria)
We prepare submission packages for: LDA (Lahore Development Authority), KDA (Karachi Development Authority), CDA (Capital Development Authority, Islamabad), DHA (all phases), Bahria Town (all sectors), Lake City, Model Town, Johar Town, and Askari Housing. Packages include submittal certificates, drawings, calculations, soil reports, and scheme-specific forms.
7. As-Built Documentation
After construction, we prepare as-built drawings showing the building as actually constructed (including any changes made during construction). As-built documentation is required for building completion certificates, bank financing, property sales, and insurance.
Comparison: ACCO vs. Typical Documentation Providers
Many freelancers offer “documentation” but lack coordination between disciplines. Here is why ACCO is different:
| Feature | ACCO | Typical Freelancer / Small Shop |
|---|---|---|
| Complete Documentation | Architectural + Structural + MEP + BOQ + tender + approvals – all under one roof | Only architectural or only structural – missing pieces |
| Discipline Coordination | In-house coordination – columns aligned with architectural plans, MEP integrated with structure | No coordination – columns block rooms, ducts clash with beams |
| PEC Stamp | Included – genuine PEC stamp on structural drawings | No stamp or fake stamp – documents rejected |
| 3D Visualization | 3D architectural walkthrough included for major projects | No 3D – clients struggle to visualize |
| BOQ & Specifications | Included – detailed BOQ with accurate quantities | No BOQ or rough estimates – cost overruns |
| Approval Experience | Expert knowledge of DHA, Bahria, LDA, KDA, CDA, Lake City requirements | Generic drawings – rejected for by-law violations |
| Software | AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, 3ds Max – all licensed | Basic AutoCAD only – limited capability |
| Revisions | 2 rounds of revisions included | Charges extra for every change |
| Turnaround Time | 10-14 days for complete residential package | 20-30 days – project delays |
| Client Support | Dedicated project coordinator (Mon–Sat, 9 AM – 6:30 PM) | Unreachable after payment |
| Nationwide Service | Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, all major cities | Local only |
