ACCO in Islamabad

Design-Led Construction for Islamabad Plots

Ahmed Construction Company (ACCO) takes on residential, commercial and healthcare projects in Islamabad from its head office in Gulberg III, Lahore. Our architects and engineers prepare the drawings, and our construction team runs the site.

Many Islamabad clients come to us with a plot in a CDA sector, DHA Islamabad or a private scheme, and a clear brief but no design yet. We start with the layout and approval drawings, then price the build so you can decide on grey structure, finishing or a full turnkey contract.

ACCO does not have an office in Islamabad. Site visits, supervision and meetings are arranged for each project.

Building in Islamabad: What to Plan For

Islamabad has stricter planning control than most Pakistani cities. These points shape design and cost from day one.

  • CDA design vetting

Commercial building plans in Islamabad are reviewed by CDA’s Design Vetting Committee. Plans are deferred when parking and planning parameters are not shown clearly, so we prepare them in full before submission.

  • Seismic design

Islamabad sits in an active seismic region. Column sizes, reinforcement detailing and foundations are designed for it rather than copied from plain-area drawings.

  • Sloping and rocky plots

Plots near the Margalla foothills and in newer sectors can slope or sit on hard strata, which changes excavation, retaining walls and drainage.

  • Society rules

DHA Islamabad, Bahria and private schemes each apply their own bylaws and approval process. We work to the rules of the scheme your plot is in.

Process

How a Islamabad Project Runs with ACCO

For Islamabad clients, design and approval work starts in our Lahore office; site work is supervised by visits planned around each construction stage. Steps vary by project and contract type.

  1. Consultation

    Brief, budget, timeline.

  2. Site review

    Plot, soil, bylaws, access.

  3. Design

    Plans, elevations, 3D views.

  4. Engineering

    Structure, MEP, approval set.

  5. Estimate

    BOQ, cost and schedule.

  6. Construction

    Site work with quality checks.

  7. Handover

    Finishing, snagging, warranty.

Cost and estimation

What Affects Construction Cost in Islamabad

Islamabad searchers often ask for cost per Marla. A reliable figure depends on your drawings and finish level, so ACCO prices each project from its own scope.

  • Plot size and covered area (5, 7, 8, 10 Marla or 1 Kanal)
  • Single or double storey, basement or not
  • Structural requirements for seismic design and soil
  • Grey structure only, or complete with finishing
  • Finish level: standard, premium or luxury
  • Approval fees and society charges
  • Site access and slope
  • Material prices at the time of construction

FAQs

Questions About Building in Islamabad

Do you work in CDA sectors as well as DHA Islamabad?

Yes. We take on projects on CDA sector plots and in housing societies. Approval steps differ, so tell us your plot’s location and we will explain the route for that scheme.

Can you prepare drawings for CDA approval?

Yes. Our architects and engineers prepare the architectural and structural drawing set. For commercial buildings this includes the parking and planning details CDA’s committee reviews.

How much does it cost to build a 10 Marla house in Islamabad?

It depends on covered area, storeys, structure and finish level. Send your plot size and requirements and we will prepare a project-specific estimate rather than a generic per-foot rate.

Do you have an office in Islamabad?

No. ACCO works from Lahore and visits Islamabad sites for meetings and supervision at each stage.
