#1 Interior Design Studio Services in Pakistan | ACCO

You walk into a room and feel instantly at ease. The furniture is perfectly placed. The lighting creates a warm glow. The colours flow seamlessly from one space to the next. The layout just works. This is not luck. This is professional interior design. And in Pakistan, most homes and offices lack it. Rooms feel awkward because no one planned the furniture layout. Kitchens are inefficient because no one designed the workflow. Lighting is harsh because no one considered layers. The result is a space that looks “OK” but never feels right. You live with the frustration every day.

Ahmed Construction Company (ACCO) solves this with our dedicated Interior Design Studio Services in Pakistan. For over 25 years, we have designed interiors for residential and commercial clients. Our notable clients – Meezan Bank, Bata, BUITMS – trust us for interiors that balance beauty and function. Our in-house interior design studio works alongside our architects and engineers, ensuring your interior design is not just beautiful – but buildable, practical, and coordinated with all building systems.

Interior design is not just decoration. It is space planning (arranging furniture for flow and function), lighting design (layering ambient, task, and accent light), material and finish selection (flooring, wall finishes, countertops, tiles), furniture selection (sofas, chairs, tables, beds, storage), colour palette development, kitchen and bathroom design (cabinetry, fixtures, layout), custom millwork (wardrobes, shelves, cabinets), and window treatments (curtains, blinds). ACCO’s interior design studio provides complete design packages – from initial concept and space planning to material selection, 3D visualization, and detailed drawings for execution. Whether you need a complete home interior, an office fit-out, or a retail showroom, ACCO delivers interiors that are beautiful, functional, and uniquely yours.

What Are Interior Design Studio Services in Pakistan?

Interior Design Studio Services encompass the complete professional design of interior spaces – residential (homes, apartments, villas), commercial (offices, banks, retail, restaurants), and hospitality (hotels). Professional interior design goes far beyond “decoration” (choosing paint colours and accessories). It is a systematic process that considers: space planning (arranging rooms and furniture for efficient flow, defining circulation paths, zoning public vs. private areas, ensuring furniture fits and functions, optimizing natural light and views), lighting design (layering ambient (general illumination), task (reading, cooking, working), and accent (highlighting art, architecture, displays), with fixture selection, placement, and controls (dimmers, scene settings)), material and finish selection (flooring (marble, tile, wood, vinyl, carpet), wall finishes (paint, wallpaper, cladding, panelling), ceiling finishes (painted, POP, gypsum, wood), countertops (quartz, granite, marble, solid surface), backsplashes, and tile patterns), furniture selection and layout (sofas, chairs, tables, beds, desks, storage, with dimensions verified to fit the space, fabrics and finishes selected for durability and aesthetics, and arrangement for conversation, TV viewing, dining, work), colour palette development (wall colours, accent colours, trim colours, fabric colours, with consideration of natural light, room orientation, mood (calm, energetic, sophisticated), and coordination between rooms), kitchen and bathroom design (layout (work triangle, appliance placement, storage), cabinetry (styles, colours, hardware), countertops, backsplash, fixtures (faucets, sinks, showers, tubs, toilets), lighting (task, ambient), ventilation), custom millwork and joinery (wardrobes (walk-in or reach-in), shelving (bookshelves, display), cabinetry (kitchen, bathroom, media), panelling (feature walls), reception desks, bar counters), window treatments (curtains (drapes), blinds (roller, Venetian, Roman), shades, with privacy, light control, thermal insulation, and aesthetic coordination), and accessory and art selection (rugs, cushions, throws, art, mirrors, plants, decorative objects, styling).

In Pakistan, the interior design market is growing rapidly. Homeowners in DHA, Bahria Town, and Lake City want more than just “contractor-grade” finishes. Office tenants demand inspiring, productive workplaces. Retailers need showrooms that sell. Restaurants need atmospheres that attract. ACCO’s interior design studio integrates with our architectural and engineering teams – we do not design in isolation. Our space plans coordinate with structural columns and beams, our lighting layouts integrate with MEP systems, and our material selections consider local availability and budget. For clients, architects, and developers across Pakistan, Interior Design Studio Services in Pakistan from ACCO deliver spaces that are beautiful, functional, and built to last.

ACCO: 25+ Years of Interior Design Excellence

Ahmed Construction Company (ACCO) has been designing interiors for over 25 years. From our Lahore headquarters at Office 2, 3rd Floor, Bigcity Plaza, Gulberg-III, and our Karachi office, we have completed hundreds of interior design projects. Our notable clients – Meezan Bank (80+ branches with consistent, professional interiors), Bata (retail showrooms with customer-focused design), and BUITMS (campus interiors for institutional functionality) – trust us for interior design that balances aesthetics, function, and budget.

What makes ACCO’s interior design studio different is our integrated approach. We are not just interior decorators – we are part of a full-service architecture, engineering, and construction firm. Our interior designers work alongside in-house architects (to ensure interior layouts align with building structure and openings), structural engineers (to ensure no structural columns are placed awkwardly within interior spaces), MEP engineers (to coordinate lighting with electrical systems, plumbing fixture locations, HVAC diffuser placement, and low voltage (data, AV, security)), and construction managers (to ensure designs are buildable within budget and schedule). We also provide advanced visualization: 3D architectural walkthrough (photorealistic renderings of interior spaces) and architectural drafting (detailed interior drawings for execution).

Our interior design coverage includes all major housing societies: DHA (Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad), Bahria Town, Lake City, Wapda Town, Model Town, Johar Town, and Askari Housing. We also serve commercial clients in Gulberg, MM Alam Road, Zamzama, Clifton, and Blue Area. International clients in the UAE, UK, Saudi Arabia, Canada, and USA trust us to design their Pakistan properties remotely. When you choose ACCO’s Interior Design Studio Services in Pakistan, you get a professional design team that delivers beautiful, coordinated, buildable interiors.

Our Interior Design Studio Process

ACCO follows a structured, client-centered process for every Interior Design Studio Services in Pakistan. We listen, design, visualize, refine, and then execute (if engaged for construction).

  1. Consultation & Brief: We meet with you (in person or via video call for remote clients) to understand: project type (residential, office, retail, restaurant), scope (full home, single room, furniture only), your likes and dislikes (style preferences (modern, classic, minimalist, industrial, transitional, eclectic), colours you love/hate, materials, reference images), functional requirements (how you use the space (entertaining, working, cooking, sleeping), number of users (family size, employees, customers), special needs (accessibility, home office, prayer area, children’s play, aging parents, hobbies)), budget (what you want to spend on furniture, finishes, fixtures), and timeline (when you need the space ready).
  2. Site Survey & Existing Conditions: We visit your space (Lahore or Karachi) to measure dimensions (room sizes, ceiling heights, window and door locations and sizes, column locations, MEP locations (outlets, switches, HVAC diffusers, plumbing rough-ins), natural light (orientation, sun path), and existing finishes (if renovation). For new construction, we work from architectural drawings.
  3. Concept Design: Our interior designers develop concept options: space planning (furniture layout options – 2-3 schemes), mood boards (colour palette, material direction, style cues), lighting concept (general approach – not detailed fixture selection yet), furniture style direction, and preliminary budget. We present concept via digital presentation or in-person meeting.
  4. Design Development & 3D Visualization: Once you select a concept, we develop: detailed space plans (dimensioned furniture layouts), reflected ceiling plans (lighting fixture positions, switching, dimming), elevation drawings (key walls showing finishes, millwork, art), material and finish selections (flooring, wall finishes, countertops, tiles, paint colours – with physical samples), furniture selection and specification (specific models, dimensions, fabrics/finishes, suppliers), millwork design (elevations, plans, sections, hardware). We then build a photorealistic 3D architectural walkthrough (interactive or animated video) of the entire space – you see exactly how it will look, with accurate lighting, materials, and furniture. You review and request changes (2-3 revision rounds included).
  5. Final Design & Documentation: After you approve the 3D walkthrough, we produce final design documentation: furniture layout plan (dimensioned, with furniture tags), reflected ceiling plan (lighting fixture schedule, dimmer locations, switching), finish schedule (floor, wall, ceiling for each room), millwork shop drawings (architectural drafting with dimensions, materials, hardware, installation details), lighting fixture schedule (brand, model, finish, quantity, price), furniture schedule (item, description, dimensions, fabric/finish, supplier, price estimate), and window treatment schedule (type, fabric, dimensions, operation).
  6. Execution (If ACCO is Contractor): If ACCO is also the contractor, we execute the design: construction (demolition, framing, drywall, MEP rough-in), finishes (flooring, wall finishing, ceiling installation), millwork fabrication and installation, lighting and electrical trim-out, furniture procurement and delivery (we can order on your behalf or you order directly), furniture assembly and placement, window treatment installation, accessorizing (rugs, cushions, art, plants, styling), and final cleaning.
  7. Handover & Aftercare: You inspect the completed interior. We correct any deficiencies. You receive as-built drawings, warranties (for millwork, furniture, etc. as applicable), cleaning and maintenance guides (for flooring, upholstery, finishes), and aftercare contact. Your beautiful interior is ready to enjoy.

Why Pakistani Homeowners & Businesses Choose ACCO’s Interior Design Studio

Interior design is about more than Pinterest boards and paint colours. It is about creating spaces that work for your life – furniture that fits, lighting that flatters, layouts that flow, and materials that last. Pakistani homeowners and businesses choose ACCO’s interior design studio because we understand local needs: separate guest and family spaces, prayer areas, servant quarters, large family gatherings, work-from-home requirements, power backup integration (no ugly generators disrupting design), water storage and filtration (design that accommodates tanks), and air conditioning (design that integrates AC units gracefully).

Our interior design clients include homeowners in DHA, Bahria Town, and Lake City, commercial clients (offices, banks, retail), and hospitality clients. They choose ACCO for: integrated design (coordination with architecture and MEP), advanced visualization (3D walkthroughs before spending money), buildable designs (detailed drawings contractors can follow), material knowledge (what is available in Pakistan), project execution (we can also build – single contract), and warranty. View our interior design portfolio to see spaces we have transformed across Pakistan. Our interior designers are PCATP-registered where required and work alongside PEC-registered engineers – your interior design is in professional hands.

Frequently Asked Questions About Interior Design Studio Services in Pakistan

1. What is architectural engineering and why does my interior design need it?

Architectural engineering applies engineering principles to building design. For interior design, this means: integrating your furniture layout with structural columns (not placing a sofa where a column will be), coordinating lighting with MEP systems (circuits, switching, dimmers, load, integration with backup power), ensuring bathroom and kitchen layouts align with plumbing rough-ins (not designing a sink where there is no drain), and verifying that floor finishes can support loads (heavy stone, large furniture). Without architectural engineering, interior designs may be impossible to build or may require expensive field changes. ACCO’s interior designers work alongside engineers – your interior design is buildable.

2. How do I get a floor plan designed for my house?

Contact ACCO via phone (+92 322 800 0190), email (info@acco.com.pk), or our Contact Us page. We schedule a consultation. Our interior designers can work with your existing architectural floor plan, or we can refer you to our architectural team for home floor plan design if you need a complete architectural layout first. The interior design studio then develops furniture layouts based on the architectural floor plan.

3. What is the difference between architectural design and interior design?

Architectural design creates the building structure, exterior appearance, room layout (wall locations), window and door locations, and building systems (structure, MEP). Interior design takes the architectural shell and adds furniture, finishes, lighting, millwork, and accessories – making the space functional and beautiful. Architectural design answers “where are the walls and windows?” Interior design answers “where does the sofa go and what colour is the wall?” ACCO provides both services, integrated.

4. Do you provide 3D walkthroughs of interior designs?

Absolutely. Every interior design project includes a 3D architectural walkthrough – photorealistic rendering, animated video or interactive (user-controlled). You see your future living room, kitchen, office, or showroom before any construction or purchasing. This is essential for design approval – you can see if the sofa is too large, if the lighting is too dim, if the paint colour feels wrong, all before spending money.

5. Can ACCO design interiors for commercial plazas and hospitals as well as homes?

Yes. ACCO’s interior design studio works on residential (homes, apartments), commercial (offices, banks, retail, showrooms), hospitality (restaurants, cafes, hotels), and healthcare (clinics, hospitals, labs). Each space type has different requirements – retail needs product displays, healthcare needs cleanability, offices need workstations. ACCO adapts. Learn more about our engineering capabilities for different building types.

6. How long does interior design take?

Timelines vary by project scope. A single room (living room or bedroom) design (concept to final documentation) may take 2-4 weeks. A full home (5 rooms or more) may take 6-10 weeks. A commercial office (5,000 sq ft) may take 8-12 weeks. Timelines include concept (1-2 weeks), design development and 3D visualization (2-5 weeks), and final documentation (1-2 weeks). If ACCO is also executing (construction, millwork, installation), add construction timeline (4-20 weeks depending on scope). ACCO provides a schedule during consultation.

7. Can you work with my existing furniture?

Yes. If you have existing furniture pieces you want to keep (an inherited dining table, a favourite sofa, a family heirloom), ACCO can design the interior around them. We will measure the existing pieces, photograph them, and incorporate them into the space planning, material selections, and 3D walkthrough. We can also suggest reupholstering or refinishing existing pieces to better fit the new design.

8. How much do interior design studio services cost in Pakistan?

Interior design fees vary by project scope, complexity, and level of service (design only vs. design + execution). As of 2025, very approximate ranges (design only, excluding furniture, finishes, and execution): Consultation and concept design (2 options): PKR 30,000-80,000 depending on project size. Full interior design package (space planning, lighting design, material selection, millwork design, furniture selection, 3D walkthrough, final documentation) for a single room: PKR 50,000-150,000. Full home (5 rooms): PKR 200,000-500,000. Full office (2,000-5,000 sq ft): PKR 300,000-800,000. These are design fees only. Execution (construction, millwork, furniture) is additional and costed separately (at cost or with markup). Contact ACCO for a fixed-price quote based on your specific project scope.
