LAHORE: The Punjab government is all set to launch a 300 acre Central Business District Punjab at Walton Airport, located in the provincial capital.
According to the details, a commercial district will be set up in the first phase, whereas a digital district and a residential district will be introduced in the second and third phase. The project inaugurated by Prime Minister Imran Khan in February 2021, will be equipped with modern infrastructure, providing a great impetus to the business activities in the country.
The project envisages an economic hub, featuring many high-rises constructed along the Gulberg Main Boulevard and Ferozepur Road.
To be completed in 3 phases, the first phase to be developed will span over an area of 128 acres, generating commercial activity of around Rs1,300 billion, announced Chief Minister Usman Buzdar while addressing the foundation stone laying ceremony held earlier.
