Rawalpindi: A total of 500 new development schemes worth Rs86.9 billion are set to launch in the garrison city.

While chairing a review meeting of Divisional Development Working Party, Commissioner Rawalpindi Division, Syed Gulzar Hussain Shah directed the authorities to ensure regular monitoring of the development schemes for timely completion.

Any building declared dangerous should be demolished, he further added.

Out of the total, 430 development schemes have been approved, whereas the authorities approve the schemes left.

Under the annual development program for the district, 361 schemes approved, including 264 new and 96 ongoing projects, have been approved by the authorities.

The announced development projects include 72 of Building Division, 50 of Local Government and Community Development, 33 of Highway Division, 29 of Public Health, 12 of RC Division, five each of the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) and the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA), 4 of Sports Department, and one small dam project.

The remaining schemes belong to the Allied Hospitals, Tourism, TEVTA, Wildlife, and the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA).

The development schemes will boost the socio-economic development of the district.

The relevant authorities have been ordered to pay regular visits to the allocated projects to monitor progress, which will be reported to public representatives and the Commissioner office.

اسلام آباد: حکومت نے راولپنڈی ڈویژن میں 500 ترقیاتی منصوبے شروع کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے جن پر 86.9 ارب روپے کی لاگت آئے گی۔

تفصیلات کے مطابق ان 500 منصوبوں میں سے 430 منصوبے ایسے ہیں جو کہ مکمل طور پر منظور شدہ ہیں جبکہ باقی منظوری کے عمل میں ہیں۔

منصوبوں میں 33 کا تعلق ہائی وے ڈویژن سے ہے، 12 کا آر سی ڈویژن، 72 کا بلڈنگ ڈویژن، 50 کا لوکل گورنمنٹ، جبکہ 29 کا تعلق پبلک ہیلتھ سے ہے۔

مزید برآں ایک ڈیم کا منصوبہ بھی پائپ لائن میں شامل کیا گیا ہے۔

اسلام آباد: وفاقی وزیر برائے اطلاعات و نشریات فواد چودھری کا کہنا ہے کہ بلوچستان کی تعمیر و ترقی حکومت کی اولین ترجیحات میں سے ایک ہے۔

وہ گورنر بلوچستان سید ظہور آغا سے ملاقات کے دوران اظہارِ خیال کررہے تھے۔

اُن کا کہنا تھا کہ حکومت بلوچستان کو تاریخی ڈویلپمنٹ پیکج دیا جو کہ صوبے کے لیے ایک گیم چینجر ثابت ہوگا۔

گورنر بلوچستان نے بھی اس بات کی توثیق کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ حکومت صوبہ بلوچستان کی محرومی کے احساس کو ختم کرنے کے لیے ہر ممکن کوشش کررہی ہے۔

CDA set to host Open Auction of commercial plots on 4,5 August

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is all set to host an ‘Open Auction’ to sell commercial plots of different categories on August 4 and 5, 2021.

The auctioning event to be held at Convention Centre will also include plots in the Blue Area.

This initiative will serve as an opportunity for investors and businesses to promote businesses in the federal capital.

To accommodate the bidders, the authority has approved several measures, including the first instalment of 25% paid within 30 days of the acceptance of the bid.

In addition, a 10% discount on a full payment within 30 days of the bid acceptance letter.

The authority has also announced providing a building plan approval facility after the first instalment and construction to start on full payment, advance income tax on a pro-rata basis.
